Awkwafina is an American actress and musician. She began by releasing humorous, cleverly written rap songs that addressed questions of racial identity and sexuality. She then expanded her fan base to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants and Koreans.
