Robyn Rihanna - also known as Rihanna is a Barbadian pop singer and songwriter. She's had hit songs like Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella and Take a Bow. The artist is extremely successful and just in her peak youthful years, she's already sold more than 41 million albums and 150 million tracks around the world, making her one of the most successful artists of all time. Born in Barbados she was raised listening to reggae, and she began singing while she was young. Her discontent was caused with the chaos of her family and constant disagreements with her father. She decided to fall in love with music. She formed a musical group while still in high school and was able to have an audition with music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly impressed by the teenager's talents. He asked the girl to make the move from her home in New York in order to make a career of it as a singer which she gladly agreed to do. The album she released her debut album soon launched and Rihanna was a cult artist in no time. her sultry foot-tapping tracks became the hot favorites of younger fans, prompting Rihanna to make films as well. Nowadays, she's considered to be an entrepreneur and fashion-conscious popular teenager. Rihanna uses her fame to the right direction by actively engaged in a variety of charity causes.
